Sidasta
Mew have just announced their first summer festival in 2017. Is Glastonbury right for them? Will they still draw a crowd over here? Saw them in Manchester last year and I think they were sold out...
rawaudioinput
Haven't seen them since they supported Nine Inch Nails back in 09, would love for them to be at Glasto
Amy Lawn
Caught the last 15 minutes of their set at Green Man last year, looked a right good do, but they'd been on at the same time as Hot Chip so obviously they lost out. Hardly anybody there though.
Mezhyp1
One of my mates is a huge fan, I should have made more effort to get into them, no time like the present
Ovechkin
Mew would be perfect in a afternoon slot in the sun, 17-18:00ish. definitely on my wishlist!
Amy Lawn
Where do we reckon they'd play? Under the truck?
Justiceforcedave
I loved their first two albums. Saw em at V in 2007 I think. More then welcome at the farm as far as I'm concerned!

They played played the roundhouse last year (which as far as I know was the biggest uk show they've played) so definitely could draw a crowd in the right place. I think they'd be a great park sub. Sidasta
Mew have just announced a European tour (including the UK in May, tickets go on general sale on Friday), and still nothing during Glastonbury. Feeling pretty hopeful!
Ovechkin
I posted their new single in the new music thread, its out on spotify too. Its brilliant!
Sidasta
I find modern Mew tracks to be "growers". At first listen of this, I'm not hearing anything here that I've not heard a dozen times before, even on the previous album. But I felt that way about +- too, and now I love that album. I'll be there at the Ritz again, really hoping they bring back the videos this time!
uscore
I would love them to return to Glastonbury, saw them in (what I think was) their only performance there, 2003 in the New Bands tent. Got tickets for them @the Trinity in Bristol in May. Edited January 28, 2017 by uscore typo
Mardy
Man, i had no idea they were still going. I bloody loved ’am i wry, no' and glass handed kites era Mew but had totally lost touch with them. Assumed they'd just faded into oblivion. Might have to reconnect this weekend and try some of their newer stuff.
