efcfanwirral
I know day tickets are actually quite reasonably priced, but as there's almost no chance of a sell out what happens in the week before the festival? On past experience would I be able to pick up a day ticket cheaper in the week before? Not sure which day yet, just wondering in general? Stuielooie
Last year Saturday day tickets (Reading) sold out a month before atleast I'd say? I bought tickets 6 days before at FV. If its a day ticket you are looking for, they are most likely to be cheaper while people are reselling prior to the tickets selling out. AndrewSmith
As I said in another post " For as long as I can remember ticket prices have never been reduced. Reading has sold out for the last 4 years but Leeds hasn't sold out since 2011 I believe."

Cheers for the replies everyone
she bangs the drums
I picked up day tickets for Metallica day at Leeds for £45 the week before the festival from a tout off Gumtree, there were loads on the website for similar price. Lots of weekend tickets for £150. Just make sure you meet face to face to pay and collect ticket (s) and don't send cash in post etc
she bangs the drums
When I met the tout, he opened his boot and had hundred of tickets for each day. I would imagine there will lots of tickets available for a bargain price near the festival if you are willing to wait until the last minute. dentalplan
Damn. Even as a tout, you've got to be some other kind of stupid to attempt to tout Leeds tickets.

Unless they had a contact in ticket sales that was sneaking them out of the printing offices?

This is a good point as they all had ticketing sellers ticket line on the tickets were you would usually find your name... I've kept his phone number for this year as he works the Manchester area so will give him a call about 2 weeks before the festival and see if can get in to festival for the weekend for less than £150.
