After failing in the main sale, the resale and secret sale plus competitions I will be watching the coverage from the comfort of the chair.  Totally gutted and missing the excitement.  Have a great time everyone!!  However this forum has certainly been great to follow over several month, weeks and days. I will be there next year.

Dont worry mate, im in the same boat, failed miserably this year, I dont even know how I got them last year..will haveta keep my mind occupied to next year....wish everyone the best  BUT this time next week we can start planning for tickets for next year!!!

I wonder how many will say "never again" after this year and the access issues. Might put some people off! That and the negative weather press - can live in hope!

In exactly the same boat here. As much as I'd like to be there I'm over it now, and will be enjoying the festival vicariously this weekend.

Weather looks to be OK for the moment and I reckon people will forget the hassle getting in fairly quickly. Just watch out for the moan fest next Monday though.

I read on one thread here someone taking 9hrs to get close (not here yet) to be hit by another campervan! 9hrs is epic just alone!

Yeah, a lot of people with campervans seem to have turned up early, either not knowing about the 6pm entry thing or just ignoring it. I saw quite a few comments on FB along the lines of "What are they going to do, turn us away? It'd cause traffic chaos..."

I'm following events on here and the webcam. I have occasional pangs of sadness but I accepted I won't be going this year some time ago and I'm trying to enjoy it from this perspective. Fully hopeful for October.

I didn't try for tickets, (health issues)  but love talking with people who are going and seeing all the excitement build on here. Why I can't sleep is a mystery to me..

Will be checking the Web Cam too, to see what the place is looking like, now the party is starting

I had actually planned not to go this year, but it doesn't make it any easier ! 

At least we wont have the depression come Monday!!

I wish I had a teleportation machine right now because I'd set it's co-ordinates to the Ridge & Furrow for the efests meet that's taking place as I write this. Missing not hooking up with the crew there. I had a busy day today so it took my mind off not being there this year.
