Norovirus dilemma

I've got a Seecoaches ticket for 6am tomorrow morning however at 7pm last night I became really poorly and now have the Norovirus. I'm now planning on travelling to the site on Thursday via train and coach, does anybody know what happens to uncollected tickets on the coaches? I'm not the lead booker but should she expect it to be given to her so she can leave the site on the Thursday and give me it?

From a healthcare point of view ( as an NHS worker), norovirus is still contagious up to 48 hours after the last symptoms so glad you're leaving it to thurs.

Uncollected tickets are left at the festival box office at Gate A. Your friend won't be given the ticket. Drop see tickets an email with your order number just to make them aware. They reply quite quickly.

Does that mean if you miss the bus everything's not over? Got a friend whose flight-train-situation is pretty tense and with the slightest delay it might not work out on time.

Not done the coach myself so can't say for certain but I know some people that have and tickets were handed over in an envelope for attention of the lead booker so there's a good chance your friend can get it for you without any hassle. Seems people have different experiences tho

Last year people were pretty adamant that you had to be on the coach to get your ticket.

Good to hear that there's some leniency. Makes me travel plans less stressful!

Done the coach twice and both times they were just handed over in an envelope for the attention of the lead booker. I don't know how common that is, but I'd say there's a very good chance that your friend can just be given the ticket, even if they're handed out individually. Its not like coach drivers are incapable of using their common sense.

Though as said, they'll be left at a collection point otherwise. Just get your friend to let you know what happens tomorrow.

Apparently each ticket is in its own individual envelope and the driver is going to have to ask a steward what to do upon arrival. Is it See customer services I need to ring?

I've had Norovirus before and it was deeply unpleasant whilst surrounded by home comforts. The idea of contracting it at Glastonbury is the worst thing ever.

To be honest, I'm now optimistically thinking it was food poisoning as I'm nigh-on symptomless today
