Soulwax are better but then they haven't done much for a few years.

Aye, would love to see Soulwax return with new music, they toured Night Versions for the best part of a decade (felt like that anyway). But it doesn't seem they're that bothered, probably realise they're on such a nice earner as 2manydjs.

they havent done anything at all for much longer than a few years. A real shame as they were absolutely amazing as a live band. I feel really sad that they killed off the project although they probably took it as far as it could go.

having said that they've taken 2manydjs to well beyond saturation point!

can't see murphy performing with them as despacio when he is simultaneously touring LCD but i live to be proven wrong.

Never been to a 2manydjs set but with all the raving on here I'll have to catch one eventually. Hope they do one so I can see what all the fuss is about.

I've seen them 4 times and only supporting arcade fire were they a bit off but that was due to the set times being screwed up due to lorde being late.
they were brilliant at wireless 2010, sw4 2012 and glasto arcadia last year

I've seen them twice and listened to sets from years ago, they've been playing pretty much the same tunes for years but they're amazing. The under the covers sets are a lot more entertaining than their normal sets I think but both sets I seen were brilliant regardless. Closing out their set in Manchester with an electro mix of Panic by The Smiths with confetti cannons was brilliant

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
