I was there last night and agree that the only thing that reduced my enjoyment a little was that people didn't stand up and dance during the more dancey tunes. Otherwise it was totally amazing (as he always is).

I'd love to see him too, but there's a Vessels clash, and as I've seen JG four times or so, I've gone for a band that I like a lot and have never seen. He is great, really great. But I've had problems with his vocal pitching on more than one occasion when I've seen him live...

I actually enjoyed his tuning being off during Queen Of Denmark it added to the emotion of the song. He was the performance of the year in 2014, really good, but I've not been feeling the new record at all. I can't see how it could be anything but an inferior version of last time.

Plus, Vessels were one of the first bands on my list for this year. I'm with the doc on this one.

I was planning to watch Kurt Vile up at the Park but not sure I can miss JG again, I missed him in 2014 whilst watching the Pixies.  

I did see him last year at Hammersmith and it was one of the best gigs I've been to over the last few years - so he's one of the acts I'm most looking forward to seeing over the whole weekend! So many highlights in his set, including a lot of the stuff off the new album

he's in my in my top 3 gigs of all time, if you've got a space in your clashfinder absolutely go see him

there some very lively point but also some real emotional moments, i'm getting chills already thinking about him playing Glacier given recent events

I struggled with the new album on the first couple of listens but it's really grown on me now.  Some really good tracks on there.  Give it another go.
