They haven't said. Got an email last week about it and there's some info on their Facebook page. Just read though some of the comments and people are saying it could still be SW4. Apparently Faithless advertised their show the same way last year but the fact you can register for tickets makes me wonder if it is? Guess we'll find out for sure on Monday...

When you're registering for Chem Bros pre-sale tickets you're basically registering for SW4 pre-sale tickets. Yeah, its the same thing Faithless did last year and whoever was headlining the year before (Deadmau5?)

That makes sense then, although why any band of that stature would want to play SW4 is beyond me? The sound levels are laughably low and the early curfew means it's not even properly dark when everything finishes. I guess the big pay cheque probably makes up for it.

The Chems are one of the last bands on my, 'must see at PKP' list and they are well overdue an appearance. It's been quite a few years since I've seen them live so let's hope we'll get the chance to sink a few beers to them this summer Dave!

Deadmau5 did it that year and example the year before. The chems are 100% at sw4.

Bit gutted by the RW announcement today. Wouldn't have minded Disclosure and the friends I go with wanted Robert Plant and LSP. The one I'm most disappointed about though is New Order. Thought they'd be a shoe-in for Marquee headliner but still hoping they'll be one of the bands that do both.

I'd have thought disclosure will be a near cert to close one of the nights.

Suggestion for a smaller headliner: Bon Iver. In terms of popularity at least in the same league as The XX and Alt-J. They're going back on the road and it seems that they won't be doing Europe early Summer. Pair them with a big dance act (i.e. Chemical Brothers) and a good undercard, and it's a good day.

Kanye West or Green Day - Gorillaz - Bon Iver/Chemical Brothers would be a good return to Pukkelpop as we know it, after 2 poor years (in terms of headliners).

Radiohead are doing festivals right up until early August so far. Also with them doing Lollapalooza Chicago could mean they do Lolla Berlin too.

They're rumoured for Electric Picnic and got to be considered to be in the mix for PP, especially if they don't headline Wercter.

Probably obvious but I'm thinking that Sigur Ros will be one of the headliners if they do it on the cheap again or a Sub or Marquee headliner for this year depending on the strength of the bill. however they choose to go I think we've got our first 99%-er

They are headlining Dour Festival, so they are ruled out

You are right, and that's the second time you've corrected me. I must be getting forgetful in my old age.

I even checked their tour dates and didn't notice Dour.

Can't believe we've missed out on Fergie, she has to be one of the most requested on the wish lists!

Think LCD are a good call but I've no idea how popular they are in Belgium? Judging by the kind of names being thrown around in the RW thread for their missing Thursday headliner, I can't see them being announced in that slot. PKP are more likely to offer them a headline position but it will no doubt come down to scheduling. Can see them doing R+L so that might be another factor to take into account.

I can't see LCD Soundsystem headlining Pukkelpop either. They've never reached arena status here, which Bastille/Alt-J/The xx did. Perhaps a party act closing slot like Macklemore or Goose.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
    • Shambles. Transport and comms garbage. Been looking forward to this since last June and have never been to a more disorganised festival in 30+ years.  Why we were told the whole festival was cancelled for the night if they had put back shows for a few hours?  Pissed off to say the very least and put a huge downer on the rest of the weekend.
    • Rotten communication. Actually god awful. Posting sporadically on IG, closing Mordor only to reopen and cause some serious carnage. Left the festival as it got too much for my 16year old daughter. She was devastated about Alex G and Mac…but TV girl could have saved it. Took us until 1220 and already home to find out they might/are playing. Pish.    and on another note, this festival has lost its bastard soul. Gone are the wee tents with local sellers selling vinyl, t shirts etc, now you can buy a 50 f**king eur official T-shirt. The ar*e is truely out of this event now. I went to Porto for the first time last year and it was fab. I love Barcelona and the line up is always stacked, but this festival is a corporate loss take. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.
