The milk truck came to our field (Wicket) every morning.

 

Aye. Friday and Saturday about 10am in Wicket.

Saw it just once about 11am in Pylon on Thursday.

Was in wickets every day normally around 8-8.30 ish.

 

Saw it a few times around the site later on too.

Thankfully the fuckers didn't wake me up this year. In fact, I only saw it on the railway track so it mustn't have come past my tent.

 

I was woken up by a seagull fight one morning though.

Came down between penards and Arcadia, seen it near oxylers

So in summation snowbadger you are the only person on site not to have seen the milk van. Maybe its like the dancing pandas.

 

Was in Big Ground and didn't see it either. Either I was oblivious (quite likely) or there was noticeably less traffic in general going up and down that road.

They wouldn't come to Oxylers, too busy there for a tractor, but were around in Dairy

A banana yazoo from the milk truck saved my life on Friday morning, as they went through dairy dispensing "cold fresh cow juice"

I got through a fair few pints of the White stuff - always one of the bargains of the festival.

They weren't selling the large juice cartons this time, but suspect and hope they might bring them back next year (when I mentioned it on the Friday morning, the staff said they'd already been asked after them loads)

Yep, saw it every day in park home ground, and then again throughout the day in other areas!

Didn't buy any though, milk would have definitely been a bad choice in that heat

Walked to a milk place and bought my milk, only saw the tractor on Thursday.  Probably only due to timing on my part.  I always drink a pint or two in the morning at the festival, lovely stuff and sets me up for the day.

Came round by webbs ash but not as early previous years, i walked to the milk stand this year to get my morning two pints because it was coming round at almost lunchtime.
