David Ford

Not sure if there are any David Ford fans out there, but he's part of Jarrod Dickenson's touring band on the acoustic stage this year. No idea why he's not playing on his own whilst he's there. Well he's tweeted "anyone up for a guerilla gig at Glasto". So basically I'm trying to drum up some support for such a thing, as I'm a sad fan boy (middle aged git). He's @davidfordisdead on twitter

He did something similar at Latitude many moons ago, but he was actually performing on one of the stages there as well.

Wonder where he'll be!  I have one of his solo albums, but This is Where I Stand and Kill the Last Romantic will probably be 2 of my favourite albums forever!

To be fair he seemed like a lovely guy and was very apologetic about waking me up an asking me to leave when they wanted to get changed, but I was only a friend of friend of someone else in the band an it was about 13 years ago.

Really like him, always a surprise to see his name mentioned...well anywhere really. shame he's not playing as he'd be one of my must sees. Would love a random gig somewhere but the chance of being there are slim!

What a nice bonus set this was, Ford and Dickenson trading songs in Croissant Neuf for 45 mins - I'll never tire of seeing Ford doing Every Time. Hopefully he'll be back in his own slot next year.

gutted I missed it, by the time i checked twitter the set had started and felt by the time i got there it would have ended.
