I was on the page for Liverpool and it still said some where available but it wouldn't let me do anything else. I have no idea what I was doing wrong. But it could have sold out a while ago as I only tried at 10:30 as I thought you needed a pre sale code but the sold out message has only just come up. Still going to try on Friday as I know Gigs and Tours does work unless their website.

Skived in the toilet for 10 mins at 9 o'clock to try O2 Priority but couldn't get anywhere. Tried again at 9:30 while walking around Tesco buying newspapers and got straight through. Nice.

Why would you walk around Tesco buying newspapers, they're all in one place. I call bullshit on this story.

I walked into Tesco, walked to the newspapers, walked to the checkout, then walked out, and bought tickets as I was doing this.

So yeah, I bought tickets whilst walking around Tesco buying newspapers.

Haha, that was a lost battle, not an argument! Lightning had couldn't get him out of that.

Not sure how you 'won' tbh mate. Headlining Bestival, Latitude and Parklife off their 3rd album isn't simply nothing now is it. It is also safe to assume that if their 4th album is as good as their 3rd then a clear progression points to headlining Reading or being very high up on the Glasto Bill.

P.S. Their first album is by far their best. Although this 4th album sounds very promising

Dude...

Stop arguing with thewayiam FFS

Everyone will be wrong about them headlining until they're announced, then we'll all be wrong and the festival will be wrong as well.

    • on another note, 3 weeks too early to tell weather wise, apparently they are expecting a heat wave soon but that will have probably past by the time rw comes around. Grim england this week, doesn't really set the hope too well right now but we'll see.
    • I don't think that the insider has ever got much wrong so it does seem like we'll be getting another act, rw always seem to be pretty good listening to feedback, probably why retention is so high so I guess if they can fill that final slot they will, always looked a bit strange on the schedule
    • There is a misconception that off-site camping is run by neighbouring land owners. The majority rent fields off the land owners (Camp Kerela, Pop Up, Ziggu etc), so yes a farmer may make a few quid more renting to a camping company but relationships with Michael et al mean most prefer to rent to the festival. None of the festival's off-site camping is on their own land; Worthy View, Sticklynch, Campervan East, B&W.    Holt Farm is Steanbow Farms land, so it is likely they would rent to the festival rather than a third party.
