I've been trying to find the words to try to convey to people today how good they were, I think you've got closer than I did, but still not quite there. I've been preaching to people about how they're most exciting new band to rise up in recent years, and never have I seen a more visceral and immediate show, they sort of nod and go "sounds cool". No! You don't understand! It is so so so so much more! Just fucking love this band.

Exactly the same Lawn, I hesitate in hyping bands so excitedly to friends usually as they've all got different tastes. They've all been getting an earful of how they need to see these however.

I find it hard to believe anyone could go see them and not be blown away. They're not an act you should give anything but your fullest attention to when watching them.

They're supporting Leftfield on their tour in June, playing Glasgow at least anyway. Looking forward to seeing them as I think the album is terrific. Will make an effort to see them at Glastonbury based on the support show and clashes.

I did see them at last years glasto and I almost found the intensity a bit to much.. Loved the debut album though not so keen on the 2nd.

Yes. At just over a tenner a ticket (if the same as Newcastle), its well worth 2 hours of your life.

Support was good as well.

I've got a ticket to see them with my friend in Oxford next Tuesday. What sort of time have they come on stage on this tour? I ask this as I'm picking my friend up from heathrow around 6.30pm and driving straight there so will be trying desperately to get there in time. Will be touch and go I think

Only just started giving this lot a good listen. Didn't think much of the one that won the Mercury on first listen. Tried WMABMT yesterday. Wow. Utterly superb record this. Definite TVOTR vibes. Will go back and try their other stuff. Really excited to see them now.

The second album's got some great hooks amongst the heaviness of it.

Saw these last night and they were incredible. Catch them if you can at Glasto (although they'd be far better in a tent).

Managed to make it to Oxford from Heathrow in time, incredible performance, such intensity. My friend had just got off a plane from Vietnam and was blown away. Agree about them being wasted mid afternoon on Other, just hope they'll pop up in the late night areas somewhere

Yeah what a shit slot for them. Can't imagine it really working where the stage is so far from the crowd. Saw them in Southampton on Sunday and they were superb... bit passed off that they only played an hour though, they've effectively got four albums now.
