Last year the person checking my ticket inspected it for ages and was clearly not convinced that it was me. I was all ready to get my driving license out!

Made my girlfriend take her hat off, glasses and still stood for ages checking the picture. Was ok for that group as they didnt live that far away, is one hell of a gamble to drive from miles away just to get told to go home.

not even sure how it works, they made out like they were doing multiple trips to car, ive never left in middle of festival so not sure what procedure is on re entry. Anyone?? would you need both ticket and wristband?

Yep and they give you a pass-out I'm sure. Need all the pieces to the puzzle to get back in.

For re-entry you need your ticket and a pass that they give you on the way out, then they check both on the way out and in. They also check that your wristband is secure and tight enough - so no idea how that group managed it!

To go out and get in again you need three things: 1) your ticket, 2) your wristband, and 3) a re-entry pass that they give you when you leave. So this in theory means that the same number of people go out as get back in again, and you can't go in with a mate and then go out with two tickets (yours and theirs, leaving them inside) to get another mate in who looks similar, because the stub's been torn off the two tickets, so only you will get back in again with your wristband and re-entry pass

Some stewars really check and some stewards don't really care, my brothers friend got in with a ticket he got from one of his friends that could no longer go, he turned up with face paint on and looked for the steward that was not scrutinizing as much as the rest and got through with no hassle.

Another way I heard it being done was 2 people went in and came back out then one claimed he had lost his pass out and blagged his way back in then set up camp then took the wristband pass out and ticket from his mate and went back out and met his other friend and gave him all the items and came back through re entry.

None of the 'Smuggled' lot got wristbands, think they just managed to get in with just ticket stub and pass. Guessing it went, two left with tickets and wristbands, got two re entry pass one came back in with smuggled friend minus wrist band but did have re used ticket and re entry pass. Then the one left with wristband gets ticket taken back to them and say forgot re entry pass. Like andycamper said pick someone who aint bothered then all good. Please note Im not saying to do this and i wouldnt myself but is interesting

I've been in caravan before. First year they opened the door and just glanced inside as the caravan was full of stuff. The next year they didn't check inside it at all. However once you have been escorted onto the site and enter the campsite you have wristband checks to get in and out every time.

I feel like I must look really suspicious! I always get asked to take my glasses off and they always double/triple check my photo. I don't think I look that different from the picture other than having pink hair now.

Although one year the ticket checker looked at both mine and my sisters driving licences and was very suspicious at us looking similar and having the same date of birth...maybe he'd never heard of twins...

there;s been a couple of lightning sales of small numbers of radiohead tickets this afternoon, including one a few minutes ago, so maybe they'll do glasto tix after those.

Ah man I feel nervous just in case, I'm counting on my birthday vibes for a resale and everyone on here to get tickets :)

Although there is no real connection between these two things, I love the optimism :) Everything crossed we all get sorted!

    • This!   Biffy Clyro I don't think would ever get asked, I just don't think it us their scene and it certainly wouldn't be a wise move for them after how the Finsbury Park show went. If they ever had a chance of regaining or staying a bit higher up taking Slam Dunk isn't how you do it. For the cost of it now I think being into the main headliner does make a difference though.
    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
    • Couple of standing tickets left on ticketmaster if anyone is still trying
