And why would they do that? Makes no sense. It happened last year but it was Alt-J and I presume it was to help with Latitude sales as they were headlining that

i don't see why not, although its unorthodox it could work marketing wise. the headline announcements will get pretty a pretty large amount of attention so long as they're not tiny bands as its reading and leeds, one of the most famous and historic festivals in the world. however the later announcements often have smaller bands and don't get the festival much attention in comparison but having some big(ish) names in a later announcement will no doubt cause more people to pay some attention to the festival.

i agree but not sure why it has to be sunday. maayyybeee catfish if we are very lucky but i don't think TLSP  will be there anymore. weezer instead of them makes more sense.

They're doing a few European festivals this year and it's been a while since they did a UK festival (to my knowledge). Seems possible if there is the space for them on the line up
