@Gossard, somewhere in the Planet, Nicki Minaj is looking for you. Hopefully she's not in Iceland xD

I'd love if she'd come to Iceland. We have a #FreeTheNipple thing going on(seriously, check it out on twitter, Icelandic girls are going mad) ....Nicki could participate in that :D

Even Soley did it ... Waiting for the trend to come to Germany tbh xD

I'd guess so. 80 is the most we've ever had, we're at 75 now. So 4 or 5 names + possibly stage splits on Friday, everything rounded up before the start of Easter holidays.

Yes 20 bands each day ! So still 5 !

We didn't get the timetable until May 14th last year.....

But the years before we got it along with the last names, or at least the stage splits if exact hours weren't available yet.

They revealed in the documentary that last year the timetable was delayed because of hard negotiations with the KoL management, in order to get Stromae on Main Stage after all. And there was also that PJ - Pixies deal.

Ahh, ok. I must say that the PJ-Pixies thing came out the worst possible way! Just to see Pixies, I drove about 1500km here in Iceland last summer, as I knew I would miss them at RW, no way was I gonna skip PJ :)

I agree it came out the worst possible way. I did that too but unlike your case, they performed much closer

You made the right choice though as that PJ set was imo, the best set they performed setlist wise in the euro tour! They were awesome (even though they were late!). That 15/20 of Jeremy - State of Love & Trust - Black - Daughter - Porch was jus fantastic! I was dead afterwards :P

And the final Rockin'in the free world (with Midlake)/Angie/Yellow Ledbetter/Little Wing with EPIC Mike McCready solos !!! Best night ever at a festival. On grooveshark.com you can find their whole set track by track.

My bootleg sounds better and with the right order of the songs running ;) I think that some of them are missing too.

They were very good at RW but I also saw them in Stockholm the weekend before and that's probably the best show I've ever been to. I've seen PJ 6 times and the Stockholm show was without a doubt the best one....

That finale was excellent indeed! Midlake definitely brought something extra to RITFW!

Or you could pay and download the set from Pearl Jam's website you know... just sayin' ;)

Good to hear that your favourite show was on that tour though! It was my first and only time (yet) at Werchter but I know I'll be seeing them again next time round for sure! :D

I've heard from the other PJ fans of Paris that Leeds and Stockholm were the two best shows last year.

I did hear Leeds was incredible as they took advantage of the late curfew at Leeds arena and had a seriously extended show! It sounded incredible!

    • Sun's out today. Can feel the hills calling. Time to ramp up the energy levels. I've been easing my way in gently the last 2 weeks with the likes of Hayley and Lael Neale and Cut Worms and Maria Somerville etc. Time to unleash some Shame, Mogwai, Place to Bury Strangers and especially Wednesday and Mannequin Pussy.  Also, just back from a brilliant night in Belfast at the Fleadh Ceoil so anything with a fiddle or a whistle or a squeeze box is drawing me like the Sirens. Madra Salach with the volume up. COME ON!!
    • My Orange car park ticket turned up today. The envelope looked like some kind of junk mail offering me a loan so I nearly didn't open it!
    • There is a bunch of TBC acts on Deftones day, according to APE insta. The obvious guesses are Fiddlehead, Nothing, Dynamite and Make Way, "Outbreak" artists playing the night before. The question is more about how are they are gonna fit in on three big stages.    is
    • SURELY Reel Big Fish will be here?
    • Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter is a very bland set of headliners. Commercially successful and makes plenty of sense, but it wouldn't be very inspirising. That said I want a band like Green Day to headline so who am I to say what exciting is.
