Will and the People are a lovely happy band to listen to.

On my Xmas wish list I have

Alt J new album

Wille and the bandits

Opiuo (Slurp and Giggle CD)

Willie and the Bandits are utterly superb - saw them at Watchet in August while all the fools were watching Boney M.

They are doing a little tour soon including Bristol and I think tickets are available.

Their version of Money for Nothing is fabulous.

and

Will and the people - feel happy music with added fun.

Weather-wise, despite it being a generally glorious summer I have been damn unlucky. R**n at all three festivals and now we're off to Milan this weekend where they are forecasting almighty st**ms! Just hope we can get back on Tuesday!

    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
    • Second go.....    Still f**king fantastic - Well done WIlliam Orbit -  Bugman & Trimm Trabb mega tracks - No Distance Left To Run hauntingly Beautiful
