Jane's Addiction - Summertime Rolls

Fell into a sea of grass
And disappeared among
The shady blades
Children all ran over me
Screaming tag
Hey you are the one

He trips her as her sandals fail
She says "Stop I'm a girl
Whose fingernails are made of mother's pearl"
Yellow buttercup helicopters
Orange buttercat chasing after
The crazy bee mad about somebody

Me and my girlfriend
Don't wear no shoes
Her nose is painted pepper sunlight
She loves me
I mean it's serious
As serious can be

She sings a song and
I listen to what it says
Well if you want a friend
Feed any animal
There's so much space
I cut me a piece
With some fine wine
It brought peace to my mind
In the summertime
And it rolled

Summer
The summertime rolls
Summer
The summertime rolls
Summer
The summertime rolls
Summer
The summertime rolls

Me and my girlfriend
Don't wear no clothes
You know her nose is painted pepper sunlight
I love her I mean it's so so serious
A serious can be

Evening all, hope you're all well. Lucy, hope all goes fine.

I don't know much about Taylor Swift, but I did hear one of her songs. Not for me, but that's usually the case with the Pyramid. I'm agnostic about such matters.

As for me, I'm celebrating Ma Yeti's birthday here in the French alps. There's loads of us, but even more champagne. These are the days.

Cin cin!

    • 1 - Mock Media - Rat Bastard 2 - Maquina - Body Transmission 3 - Mary in the Junkyard - Role Model Hermit   Honourable mentions to The Hu - Hun, Madonna - Confessions II, and Swapmeet - Mount Zero for also being solid.   Sadly, really didn't connect with the new Yard Act, a real shame as loved their last two albums and thought this one would be a shoe-in for AOTM, but felt it was a bit too generic..
    • Anyone had email yet?
    • See him doing either wilderness or the forest live shows more
    • I always fancied going to this one - it had my sort of lineup. Shame.
