Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm really not liking the sound of this.

I'll have another read in the morning and see if there's some obvious joke I haven't understood.

No joke. The theory is that AIDS is a man-made desease which has been purposefully released as a means of population control. Think of the people it seemingly targets - the promiscuous, gay men, the disproportionate number of deaths in Africa. Not 100% sure if I believe it but I'm always rather suspicious about "new" medical complaints that seem to appear from nowhere.

sounds like bollocks. gay men aren't much of a contibuter to population, one would have thought, and Africans use far less of the worlds resources than us westerners.

plus, large populations are good for business. more people to make and buy things.

Sorry, it looks like I misunderstood your earlier post. I read it as suggesting you thought AIDS was a good way of 'culling humans', as the people it had killed 'deserved to go'. I thought I must have got the wrong end of the stick, as that's just not the sort of thing I would expect on here! Thanks for clarifying.

    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
    • If anyone sees Lakefest this weekend on any sites please post here, I’ve got alerts set. Been on TFG in recent years and not sold out yet.
