If we're going to have a naughty step it needs to be a deterrent. I propose w*nd and r**n and being forced to sit there listening to Beady Eye records. That should do it.

Am I the only person left who doesn't "do" Halloween?

As a kid we did trick or treat, for sweets, not cash. And there was no trick if we got nowt.

As an adult, i couldn't care less.

My son is in India at the moment (has been since July) and he has taken mammoth train journeys. 12 hrs, 24 hrs. In fact one was meant to be 24 hours but lasted 32 as it got delayed! He's nipped across to Sri Lanka this week (as you do) and won't be back to Blighty until next month.

This time last year i had an aversion to just about any kind of public transport, but that's do-able in England. Some places it's unavoidable, and now I just don't worry about it.

Having said that, I haven't done anything closer to 32 hours!

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
