We shared a beer two days running, but you couldn't remember the first day!!!!

I don't remember much at all of Wednesday, I had a mix of cider, port, southern comfort, homemade cinnamon vodka, red bull and adrenaline flooding my system! I know I had fun and met some great people, though! One of my highlights of the festival came from you, actually. Shortly after HMV arrived on Thursday, I remember you saying 'well, glad I won't be the sweariest one here tonight!'. Nearly pissed myself!

Well I'll be there again next year for more antics. You have to remember I had just arrived and was rather overwhelmed and excited. When that happens my inner sweary navvie comes out.

Thats my excuse and I stand by it. :D

Yep, nothing to do with booze at all! ;-)

Because the rest of the time you have a cut glass English accent and mind your P's and Q's? Lol!

Yes, there may have also been some booze but I was soooo well behaved for the rest of the festival.

I'd been there since the Monday, as I was working, so I'd spent 2 days just bimbling around getting more and more excited, so on Wednesday I guess I was much like HMV was on Thursday. New people, new experiences, new horizons. What's not to like? Anyway, if you can't fucking swear your bollocking arse off at Glastonbury, where can you?

I can fucking swear like a god damn muther fucker most of the fucking time but tend to try and reign it in but when I get excited not so much.

Keith, Fuck the fuck off, I was a fucking paragon of c**ting virtue the rest of the bloody weekend!

    • People seem to have got obsessed about 'secret sets' at all festivals this year even when there aren't any spaces other than, in EOTR's case, the usual late Folly sets that 90%+ of the time are from artists who are already playing.
    • To be fair @Superscally barely mentions the running thing. Very quiet about it 😘
    • I guess we'll just have to wait until videos of the shows go up, but the fact that the standing is also greyed out still suggests to me that those sections just sold out out before the others and a blue block just be like 3 tickets left, it's still not concrete proof they never went on sale and if they were never on sale why would they not make it even, if 414 wasn't on sale then you'd think 409 wouldn't be either
    • Selfish, but I've done the 2 days I'm there.. i'll try to do the rest through the day but might get beaten to it as it's editable....    https://clashfinder.com/s/ape2026/
    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
