No not really. If you read your ticket (assuming you're with See ), it says one tent, one rucksack and one piece of hand luggage I think (something like a small rucksack).

Everyone gets that allowance. There's very very little room left over. They will only put it on if they can, that's what happened when I got a See coach, the driver refused to put a group of lads crates in the hold until everyone else's luggage was in. It wasn't looking promising but they managed it in the end after taking a few in as hand luggage as well. There's a chance you'll have to leave it all behind which will just be money down the drain.

I recommend taking spirits in your rucksack and treating yourself to cold beers/ciders once you're there. :)

i've definitely seen people bringing crates on, although of course if it comes down to it they'll opt for people's proper luggage to go on ahead of any crates etc. i always just pack as many cans as i can into my 'hand luggage' and end up drinking half of it on the way there

I sometimes get NE coaches and only once has alcohol been mentioned by the driver. He said that anyone caught drinking alcohol will be reported to the police and will be escorted off the coach by the police.

I don't know and kinda doubt this is the case to be honest, but if you're going to drink, just do it discretely. Last thing you want is to only get half way to Glastonbury!

The driver can lose his/her license if caught with people drinking on his bus, it's their risk to take not yours so if they're sound with you then make sure you do a whip round because they have took a risk for you after all.

I work in public transport and many of our drivers won't take the risk but a fair few will, but they also know the risks and we obviously don't advocate it due to the fine the company is landed with.

On our 9am coach last year the driver said it was ok for us to drink alcohol. It was quite early so don't think anyone availed of that offer.

There was also a toilet though and a general pleasant ride to the festival.

Depends on the coach driver really, could get some geezer with the hump cause he's driving all day or else a sound driver. Pot luck!
