I think this year has a lot more solid live bands than other years. most of the wow acts people talk about are either big names for the sake of big names i.e. not that great live or they are well past their sell by date and are just see while you still can. I'd much rather see Metallica who are one of the best all time live bands and still producing good live shows than say Rolling Stones who are past their prime and trying to get a last buck. The only band I'm not too happy about this year is Kasabian who are a bit over rated but still better than Mumford and Sons who were amateur and out of their depth.

Friday William's Green is great for me. Lots of clashes on Saturday. Sunday's looking sparse. No headliners I'm bothered about at any point.

I don't mind having a day with not much on. As has already been said, there is so much to discover. I'm a bit disappointed there's not a single headliner that particularly floats my boat, but overall I'm happy. I can't really imagine not being happy with SO much going on.

Agree with this 100% Last years Saturdays lineup, aside from the Stones did nothing for me so I decided to have a nose around the circus area and generally bimble around. After a few smokes, a few beers, and a wandering around couple of fields of pure insanity and creativity you will not find anywhere else in the country, I find myself at Hell stage dancing like a loon around 6 hours after i left my tent

I look back on that afternoon as my favourite memory of all 6 of my times on the farm, much more memorable than any run of bands I have seen at the fest.

I think this year's line up is incredible... quality over quantity for me but that quality is just shockingly good, for me anyway.

It's just the clashes which are killing me!! Sunday is a nightmare for it... still, can't complain, better to have too much than too little!

My first Glastonbury but never been anywhere with a lineup this good before. There isn't a time when someones playing that there isn't something else i would love to watch as well. Some tough decisions are going to be made this year and Im going to regret something for sure.

    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.

    • Knocked Loose have been announced for Wacken, that's them at Bloodstock as well   I think they'd headline over Malev
    • I hate tradmill running with a passion lol. Yeah the 1km reps are the one along with hill reps. That's what I did last time.  It's very a very hot summer and job circumstances to stay at the consistent level I was for the marathon earlier in the year. I've got a full set of the main distance new PBs this year. 10k isn't a problem most days but even today I went out deciding just over 5 mile was enough between recovery cruise and steady.
    • There is also a solid argument from Seventeen already that not enough people actually care if they book them also.
