Oo thanks for the heads up. Off to check it out now.

It just popped into my head to visit it and see what was going on as I hadn't really looked at it since I ordered, then I get there and two free downloads! Its great like though an email would have been appreaciated :P

Surely people cant really pass him up to see anyone else?!

Every now again I think about Pixies.... its a small thought but does come up :P

This needs to happen please, Jack.

Love the country hoedown version of Hotel Yorba. I'd say it's safe and will be in his set list.

He has played it with The Buzzards but i think he is more likely to play it with The Peacocks. Still we don't know if he is touring with both bands again this time.

Oh I realise he'll probably play it. I meant the impromptu forest gigs. :P

ah, could you imagine if he did do one of his impromptu gigs just out and about at Glasto! It's a damn shame they can't get that rolling record store over here too.

Indeed! Imagine just going up to the Stone Circle/Flagtopia for a little chill and then therehe is...lauching into Hotel Yorba :D

im sure his set will be hit-laden from all of his incarnations. he is playing the pyramid after all and he knows the score.

biggest clash of the weekend for me is having to miss the pixies but I've got a feeling this set will be special.

I'd want a couple of Dead Weather songs in there to ideally...Even just I Cut Like A Buffalo and I'd be more than happy!

"Top Yourself (The Raconteurs song)
My Doorbell (The White Stripes song)
Steady As She Goes > Lemon Song
Seven Nation Army > Little Bird > Seven Nation Army"

There are not many acts who can top that for an ending!

and a big yes to Icky Thump :D

    • Nice -  Im gonna keep my self free on the day and chance last min tickets -   im not a huge fan of arena gigs anyway so im tempted to just hope she shows up at a festival i go to.
    • Fingers crossed. It feels like by the laws of probability you have to turn up in the groups once. I will be staying up to watch the first game and hoping for a Scotland win.
    • I picked up a couple of seated tickets for £60 in the end. Higher price than The Cure.
    • I went to 10 Years of Marshall Records last night at Blondies Brewery. It was headlined by Cancer Bats but it's a young lady who was supporting that I came her to give a shout out for.   Ashaine White was first act on and I had never heard of her before. She is a new signing to Marshall and hard for me to categorise her style but its the softer end of alt/indie rock. Anyway she is playing Trees and no surprise on the Marshall stage, so if your at a loss of who to see early on Thursday you could do worse then give her a listen.
    • Id love to see Heartworms get a promotion to Woodsies - had a busy festival season complete with 5* reviews from anyone who have seen her -  was Strummerville last time - Hopefully an artist Glasto bookers can et behind and help give a leg up
