Love all her albums but my favourite has to be Love this Giant with David Byrne it was played so well live and everything. Really hope i get to see her at Glastonbury because she cancelled the UK tour until August.

only just got round to reading the little interview on the Glastonbury site. wasn't aware that St. Vincent was third before Plastic Ono Band and James Blake. i know the Park tends to finish later on the Sunday, but i really hope she doesn't clash with Dolly. that would be shite

Shit, if she clashes with Dolly or Lily then that mean she also clashes with Public Service Broadcasting, yes? That's a horrible clash for me but at least I have definite reasons for missing Parton!

Wow, I am really, really into her at the moment, as with any band / Singer that's new to me I play the arse of their stuff for weeks until it's embedded in my brain :) Can't wait to see her, I reckon the park is going to be quite full, I'm sure she's popular, though if up against Dolly perhaps more room than first thought. I'll be there though for deffo as at present theres a lovely hole in clashfinder( though it might change:( ) Loving both albums really, though at present havn't checked out "Actor ", will do over the weekend though:)

What if I told you 'Actor' is her best album, at least in my opinion, and what if I told you my opinion is always right? :D

I was a bit of an armchair fan but her performance on Jools Holland has completely sold it to me (despite the weird rolling down the stairs thing)

Hopefully clashfiner is right about her timing because she'll finish in time to head down to The Wailers on the West Holts

Watched the extended version of jools, really enjoyed birth in reverse and prince jonny (whatever it was she did at the end of prince jonny was wierd but kinda sexy). Also did anyone notice at was a

Different recording of digital witness? The one on Tuesday had her on top of the steps

Having seen her live a couple of months ago, I knew what was coming at the end of Prince Johnny, but I wasn't sure she'd have the guts to do it on national television! Jools' look afterwards was priceless

Yeah i noticed that, changed it up and did Prince Johnny on the steps. I agree the thing at the end was weird and kinda sexy, did she mean to end up in a kind of reverse crucifix, or am i reading to much into it? The lyrics might lead to it? Seems to be about a gay freind who died? Or have i got that wrong as well?:)

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
