Only me that thinks this announcement screams "the kiddies aren't buying tickets, let's get some big dance acts booked!"?

Let's hope the people doing the bookings have heard of the chemical brothers or Chas and status then.

I would expect that it would be people of the older generations that wouldn't know who Chase and Status are.

Rubbish my Dad who is 60 has seen them, you cant say older people don't know who artists are because of there age :D

An announcement on snapchat?

am I the only one that feels in the past 3/4 years TITP are letting their social media team be run by a bunch of 18-21 year old girls??

Its painfully cringey seeing them tweet people and making announcements this way.

No wonder they are losing credibility.

R&L drip fed their line up this year through videos by fashion vloggers on YouTube. This is the way the world is going and there's nothing can be done to change it :(

sorry my bad i thought you were saying that kids wouldn't know who chase and status and chem bros were..

I'm up for groove but £75 is a bit pricey it would be £100 overall for me to travel for one day but obviously this will be due to the fact that they are looking to make the festival grow so its an investment i'd like to make.

So that guy that won the voice is playing on the Saturday. Similar slot to the one James Arthur had a couple of years ago I'd guess?

Yeah low on 1 of the main two stages.

Just a quick thought, why are they adding acts when they don't even know if their event is gonna be going ahead or not?

I would think that the acts were confirmed at the same time as all of the other acts but they are only announcing them now to get excitement back up.

If not and they are actually booking them now it's because there is still a very good chance it will go ahead and therefore they have to act as if there is no issue.

Groove Loch Ness will be very similar to the first couple of Rockness I heard, option to camp the day before and night after if you want to

Think il take the trip up to it if they add a few more acts along the lines they have

    • My wife works for a music company, they have an allocation already.  They run a ballot for it early next year.
    • This is my guess too.    2028 festival breaks the £400 barrier.
    • Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.
    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
