Since my last visit in 2010 I've taken a liking to Reggae music, I cant recall seeing any when I was last at Glasto but I'm sure there will be some but just unsure where it will be area wise?

unfortunately there's not masses, tho it's always had a bit, and last festival there was a chunk more than there'd been previously.

There's normally at least one 'major' reggae act on West Holts. Last year that was The Congos. They also played on one of the stages in Silver Hayes.

Then new last year (and presumably back for this year) there was a couple of much more dedicated area in Silver Hayes, which was soundsystems in The Blues, and live acts on The Gully stage.

One of my great Glastonbury moments was Jimmy Cliff in 2011. From hazy memory it was raining at the start of his set but after this the skies really did clear.

Neil, perhaps you could post the link to what was a great Reggae thread where I think you gave everyone a tutorial on great moments in reggae.

I liked that corner of silver Hayes last year. Only really discovered it on the Sunday night though. Bought a rum and coke to get in the mood. Cost me 8 quid!!! Other than that though I think it's a great addition. Love the tin sheets and trailers around the stage. Will give it more time this year.

    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.

    • I don't think I'm alone as a Scotland fan that there is no way that I could possibly fall asleep knowing we're about to play our first World Cup game in 28 years! Pure adrenaline is keeping me wide awake (and plenty of rum)!
    • Trying to stay awake for the footy so it’s just the easy option of a battery😊😉
