having said that there is no chance of them being at glasto 2014 after headlining a stage in 2013

I wouldn't take that as so certain. They'd (now) go down a storm on the Pyramid, and while I don't think that's massively likely, I don't think it can be 100% ruled-out on the basis you've said.

and also to see younger people getting into it.

just as is currently happening with Prince, those younger people have had to be told that they like it.

If we go back a few years to when Chic played at Bestival in the mid/late-afternoon, it was (I've posted about this a fair bit) of absolutely no interest to the youngsters. They'd bounce up the stage to see what was happening, and within a minute they'd bounce off again. More surprising to me than that was that the 'Chic hits' were completely unknown to them.

It's rather amazing what a bit of Daft Punk hype can do. :lol:
