The Black Keys

They have to be considered likely.

They're easily gonna be big enough to headline the other, potentially sub a headliner perhaps?

Either way, I'll be there if they play, would love my Sunday night to be filled by an hour of amazing music.

Yeah I don't think they'll play anymore. Three countries in three days is probably tough plus they're seemingly doing a midweek gig every week they're in Europe too. The festivals they're doing Glastonbury weekend aren't particularly big ones so I imagine if they were doing Glastonbury, they wouldn't cram them in too for the sake of it.

I'd have thought they'd be quite keen to play Glastonbury, they've played before and it got them some good exposure in the UK. A headline slot on the other stage would be a great platform to air some new material for them. Plus I can't think which other UK festival they'd play around that time.

Saying that the rest of their dates seem more spread out so 3 dates in 3 countries does seem a bit of a push.

I don't see three (European) countries in three nights being that much different to Dolly Parton doing two consecutive nights at the O2 and then heading over to Glastonbury on the Sunday. It's nearly twice as far from St Gallen to Beuningen as it is from there to Glastonbury actually.

Play the show in Beuningen, quick tour bus ride up to Amsterdam, flight into Bristol, supping cider in the Vale of Avalon sunshine by midday Sunday. Done.

It's on.

So The Black Keys are headlining Latitude but aren't mentioned as an exclusive whereas the other two headliners are. Having not been announced for any other UK festivals so far, would it be fair to imagine there's now a decent possibility of them playing Glasto? They could easily sub the Pyramid.
