La Dispute are playing.

As are State Champs, A Loss For Words and Roam.

Bury Tomorrow are Very likely given those tour dates (Though i've no confirmation)

Lower Than Atlantis are planning a tour of tiny UK venues in mid-late may which correlates with them having a big Slam Dunk slot (Subbing) So wouldn't be surprised if they turn out to be subbing. I see Mike now and again, i'll ask him if i see him soon but i think they're in Exeter recording.

  • 2 weeks later...

There was a Sum 41 shout on the previous page, no idea where the idea of them playing came from but it seems kind of believable at this point.

With that comment, I really can't think of any other bands that aren't touring now or before the fest that are suitable for a headline slot.

Guess we're just gonna have to wait for tomorrow...

    • There’s a few in there which could go either way or I’m not bothered if I miss but think that’s now be pretty set.  Few rubbish clashes like Kasabian/Loyle plus Reytons/Pixies/CMAT but I’ll head with the lads to the most popular one.   (And yes no Byrne or Twigs, just can’t into either)
    • I saw somewhere they were advertising Lewis' day as him live on Glagow Green and only mentioned Amy Mcdonald and CMAT as support, 0 mention of the festival  I completely agree this will probably be the last one which is a shame because the first 2 seemed so promising and now its turned into middle of the road rubbish with acts you can see everywhere else  Anyone know if the BBC are covering it next week as it'll be fascinating to see how full (or empty) it is
    • Did anyone catch Viagra Boys last night? A rollicking good set, with a little more free jazz than I expected.   if you’re up early, Walabi is doing a super job in the Cupra Pulse. There till six.

    • They really dropped a bollock on their lineup this year. They went with Richard Ashcroft because he did well as Oasis support - But realistically, you're not getting 50k people in a field to hear the 4 or 5 songs they know at like £70+ a ticket. Can't get my head around the Kasabian booking, either. Finsbury Park was a bold move for them, and yes it sold out, but I think you're more likely to see people make the journey to London if they want to see them rather than Glasgow. A second similar capacity show was always going to be a big ask for them.
