Tracking back a bit to marmozets I saw them when they were dead tiny like in 2011 and I wouldn't say they were good but they were entertaining, they just kind of ran around a lot on stage making inaudible sounds. To finish their set the entire band came into the crowd and the guitarist hit someone in the face with his guitar.

I saw them again about a year later and the (now ex) bassist through a hissy fit on stage and stormed off mid set because his amp broke or something, then somebody else came on for him like a roadie or someone demanding that a moshpit was to be started. He pointed at one guy in particular and was yelling at him to start one; he took some convincing.

Also at Slam Dunk in 2012 despite not watching them; me and my friend spent about 20 minutes chilling with the same bassist who had a tantrum on stage. He was morbid because he was too young to go to the VIP afterparty with all the other bands and all his bandmates ditched him (I guess it was foreshadowing really). To cheer him up my friend bought him a cookie. He promised that one day he'd buy him a cookie in return but he's yet to fulfil that promise.

I saw Marmozets for the final time at Leeds last year for like 10 minutes and they've decided to make radio friendlyish music now so it wasn't the same.

Next Week: Neck Deep

Am I the only person who simply doesn't get the hype for Muse what so ever? I mean, they're so so god damn boring, and they've released another dull as dishwater song today, and don't even get me started in his whiny drony voice, urgh.

They're the most loved band on this forum, mate.

Yeah I know, that's why I asked, as I simply don't get it whatsoever, and I really have tried to get into them, as I can appreciate that they're good musicians, and at least they're not by the numbers shite that's gotten massive like Kings Of Leon or Coldplay, but they just put me to sleep.

True dat. They sucked baws after the 3rd album. I never saw them then mainly because I was in this desert or another and time off was difficult. If I had a teleporter thing I'd go to T in the Park 2004. It was after then they started to suck baws from inside Bellamy's butt.

    • You can judge who you want to get a high slot next with the Lolla headliner performances from the weekend. Cause people think Tate Mcrae is the best thing out there for some reason. And some other cool acts, plus you can laugh at how bad the camera work is cause disney is cheap.
    • Fontaines getting the honour of the last ever BBC Maida Vale session going out on 6 Music shortly.   No Glastonbury relevance (for now.. ), just thought I'd mention it for those who are interested 😎
    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
