Yeah I thought Jamie T sold out all his venues.

Rock City went literally in seconds, quicker than London.

I remember looking at the SeeTickets page and there being three or four with tickets available still. Don't remember which ones. Just goes to show how terrible a factor this is when trying to place bands.

Just got back from a week away with no WiFi

Seems like a good-ish announcement, Jamie T headlining NME sounds about right.

Hopefully not up against Metallica, NME would be stuffed to the rafters with every fucking herbert in the festival. Jamie T would put on the better show, Metallica would have a crowd much higher up on the evolutionary scale.

From what I noticed on social media, more people seemed hyped up for Jamie T than anyone else from that announcement.

After Jake Bugg and Macklemore subbed last year, you could imagine FR bumping him up to sub

To be fair that was only because Metallica were announced. Had, say, Kasabian got announced he wouldn't have got half that reaction.

I reckon he'll be third.

. No he would of got exactly the same reaction but people who were happy about Kasabian as well would of put ' Kasabian and Jamie t wow' or something like that Edited by GodlikeYeezus

    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
    • Lifelong Carlisle United supporter here.🤦‍♂️ Good luck for the coming Season and see you in October!
    • Any other lower league/non-league supporters on here? It’s all change at my team, Aldershot Town. We’ve released 25 players and the new manager has brought in 21 or 22 completely new players. Going to be an interesting gamble.   There’s a little video here on the reasons why:
