riverlodge
from the less than obvious, that looks worth a listen? I have never heard of Anna von Hausswolff (name alone deserves attention) but if you like piano driven female singer songwriter stuff she is spot on. apparently the lazy comparison is a scandi kate bush - arguably thats apparent but i get sharon van etten depth meets perfume genius delicacy. think i shall be in the tipi for this. Blannyboy
From what I've seen on Youtube, William Tyler and Depford Goth will be worth a listen

riverlodge
crocodiles are great, seen them a couple of times and always fun & lively - bit of a shame about the early slot on the (draft) clashfinder though (maybe they will secret set later on too ?). a band worth a look, first heard on marc riley a few weeks ago, houndmouth:
RedRockRick
Yes, the Houndmouth is a goodie. And I have no idea what's going on with this text.
riverlodge
suspect this is no great surprise / new band to many of the forum old timers, but barr brothers are new on me realistically i'm open to most bands of any talent that will keep me at the garden stage, and this just about does it for me for early sunday:

magick melvin
This is why I love the EOTR festival so much because they book acts like Pokey LaFarge.
airboy paul
Broken Twin A duo from Denmark, and they've released the most perfect 4 track ep which I have been listening to constantly. Very delicate music, with this song being a particular favourite, especially by the last minute or so: A couple of live songs on youtube as well, which sound lovely. and I'm also looking forward to seeing Wall and Deptford Goth after discovering them from the line-up. One final recommendation : Ichi, early on the Sunday morning. He's this bonkers Japanese chap, who plays with an assortment of strange instruments (including ping pong balls, steel drums, balloons, walking around on stilts, traffic cones... definitely recommended for something a bit different! RedRockRick
Daughn Gibson for me: really like Me Moan, hope he brings his bagpipes synthesiser along.
Infinite Jest
Surely you all know John Murry, but just in case: go watch John Murry. I agree with Pokey LeFarge. I'll add Bob Lind: 60s folk-pop singer/songwriter.

killyourtv
At sonic extremes, Pins will be great in the Big Top (saw a total mismatch of a support for Willis Earl Beal last year), and Daughter have my LP of the year even if their seated church gigs this year didn't do them justice. Ms Hauswolff is a clash with the latter, but worth catching a bit of.
gigs
Seriously gutted....Fossil Collective clashes with Sigur Ros. And not just a small clash...An all encompassing Huge clash. Anyway, for those who arent Sigur Ros fans, the Fossil Collective album is a joy and i recommend them to you...
Risteardo
Two brand new must-sees for me are East India Youth and Teleman. Some hard clash decisions to be made this year...
