Thanks for the clash finder :) good work!

For me I'm fairly happy but a couple of rubbish clashes Franz/foals, kol/mgmt and probably the worst clash I've ever seen at a festival in pixies and pearl jam which is hurrendous. Having seen pearl jam before(although being in my top 5 live bands) i may have to watch pixies and see the last hour and a half of PJ... here comes a few months of debating left to a decision on the day

From Amsterdam you only need to buy a ticket to Essen, which is the first station in Belgium. It will be free from there on.

The train you will be on probably won't actually stop at that station, and you'll shoot through it at high speed without even realising (it's only a tiny town). But that doesn't matter - it still counts as far as the free ticket goes.

Be careful to buy a ticket to Essen in Belgium however, and not to that big industrial city in Germany, also called Essen.

Can anyone see potential bottlenecks?

I remember trying to get to Bloc Party in the Barn after the National set at the main stage last year. It was terrible, would like to spot one in advanced.

Obviously Interpol at Klub C 20 minutes after KOL can be a big one.

These are what I will be mainly looking to hear come the festival - Overall, I believe that it was very well structured and compared to previous festivals which I went, there seems to be almost something every day for us to hear. As you can see, for me it's all about Saturday :) Keep the days rolling, Jack!

GOLD - My main attractions

RED - will not miss them unless I'm dead

BLUE - one of the acts which I want to hear

GREEN - will give them a go if I am not too tired

PURPLE - will decide there and then depending on my mood

Thursday :

The Wombats - Daptone Super Soul Revue - Miles Kane - Milow - London Grammar - Robert Plant (30mins) - Placebo - Damon Albarn (30mins) - Metallica

Friday :

The 1975 - The Strypes (25mins) - Rodrigo y Gabriela (30mins) - The Naked & Famous - Foster the People - Crystal Fighters - Eels - Arctic Monkeys - The Subs

Saturday :

Kodaline - Haim - Biffy Clyro - Imagine Dragons - SBTRKT - The Black Keys - Trentemoller - Pixies - Moderat (will be listening Pearl there and then)

Sunday :

Reignwolf - Metronomy - Bastille - Foals - Lykki Li - MGMT - Chase and Status (might be listening to KoL a bit maybe) - Interpol

some notes after surprise yesterday night with the timetable...

- White Lies- London Grammar.... It'll be White Lies, but shit clash

- Placebo -Damon Albarn... I've seen Damon in Spain a week ago so Placebo, and Damon's end (with Tender and a góspel choir)

- Metallica- Gesaffelstein... Shit, not big fan of Metallica so I'll probably see 1 h of them and them to Gesaffelstein, but I want to see the typical Nothing Else Matters and I suppose they'll play it to the end.. :(

- Paolo Nutini- Crystal Fighters... I'll probably see Paolo, but I've Heard that Crystal are such a party...

- Biffy Clyro at 17:00... come on! You've seen them at night? They put one hell of a show!

- The Black Keys... just 1h 5min... are you serious?! and Pearl Jam 3 h!!! Biggg Boooo to the organisers, with the new álbum they deserve lot more minutes, and we too!!!

- Pixies- Pearl Jam... I'm gonna see Pixies at Primavera so no problema for me...

- Babyshambles - Royal Blood... a real problema, what to decide? I know that probably Pete don't show up but, mmm I don't know, wanna see both but I've Heard that Royal Blood put a good show on...

- Foals- Franz Ferdinand- Lykke Li... ufff, difficult, I'll seee Foals at Primavera too but, wanna see the three of them, maybe I'll rush to see a bit of each, or just skip Franz, don't know

- MGMT- Kings of Leon... Sure I'll see Leons in full but but clash anyway

- At last, Chase and status at Barn and Stromae ending the main stage... are you kidding me?! No Electronic to close the Main? Awfull choise got to say, really too bad

... and this are my general impressions about the timetables... ;P

I don't really get all the complaints about Stromae closing Main Stage. It's a Belgian festival, so you can't blame them for giving (arguably) the biggest Belgian artist in decades such a spot. I can see him draw a crowd comparable to Netsky, and likely bigger than C&S, going crazy to his danceable hits.

Surprised about Interpol playing the smallest tent while no other act is playing, hope that doesn't get dangerous...

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
