Just a quick question for those who have been before...

What are the crowds like at the front of the stages? Do you gets pits opening up, crowd surges, etc or is it more calm with people just kind of standing still and watching the bands?

Was mostly people stood still in all the crowds I was in last year. In Biffy and Blur I was pretty much the only person jumping around near me, and I got loads of funny looks for shouting along to Editors, mostly from a group of girls either side of me who obviously thought I was deranged.

i have day tickets and would be very angry if they'd change the days of the bands. i see no problem on saturday with the rock bands on the mainstage Biffy - Triggerfinger - Pixies - The Black Keys - Pearl Jam and the three electronic acts in the barn, and not to forget Agnes Obel. It's a very nice contrast program to the main stage. i prefer the electronic bands to Pearl Jam and many other people will do the same..

on sunday it's more tricky, because every band could play on any stage. i see a few clashes there.

since Imagine Dragons cancelled their appearance at bilbao one week after Werchter due to album 2 recording reasons, i'd guess they won't be at Werchter as well? this again means maybe a new head in the barn. If for example - as in Bilbao - Band Of Horses are appearing instead of Imagine Dragons, will they be the new head (which i think is possible) or will it be Biffy Clyro or even Triggerfinger and you rock guys have the clash?...

they cancelled Bilbao date 'cause they had to be on 12 in EEUU, they had to gig at Bilbao on 11 and played T in the Park con 13, but then decided that prefered to play T so they changed T to 11 and cancelled Bilbao, a bad movement from the group...

Bilbao then replaced them with Bastille, and added Band of Horses too...

so I don't expect Imagine Dragons to cancell RW...

... in other way, Coachella has just added to their closed line up Pixies and Julian Casablancas, it seems cool to add names on the last momento... will RW do the same?! hope so...

and what about the timetables? we want them!!!

They're not going to add new acts at this point. The last batch already were fillers and now the festival is 100% sold out, no reason to start adding extra names cause some people aren't satisfied.

Only exception would be The Scene, but it's more likely that TW Classic will be taking those duties.

Hoping that Pixies, Biffy or Pearl Jam clash, any of those would be a nightmare. Perfect for me would be a Haim - Biffy Clyro - Triggerfinger - Black Keys - PJ run on mainstage with Pixies playing the same time as Black Keys in the barn and having the dance acts on at the same time as PJ.

Couple of travel queries:

Which station in Brussels does the megabus coach drop you off/pick you up closest to?

How long does the train from Brussels to Leuven take? And vice-versa

Is there any way of looking at the train timetables for the above journeys online?

If you go on the MNBS/SNCB website Com you can find the train timetables there.

Btw though, I've found that it's cheaper to go to Antwerp (only a fiver each way from London) instead of Brussels (which is cheapest at £18 each way). So if you get a bus from Sheffield down to London and then get on one to Antwerp it'll be cheaper. The train from Antwerp to Leuven (there's roughly about 4 an hour) only takes 1hour :)

EDIT: And its only a short walk (20 minutes roughly) from the bus station in Antwerp to the main train station :)

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
