That doesn't say they're headlining Werchter; it says they're a headline sized band. I bet they'll play around an hour set, and won't ever be referred to as Werchter headliners in 2014.

Just been on Twitter and seen Morissey is apparently releasing a new album this year, no mention of tour but you know, can't hurt to keep on eye on it. (Have no idea where he would play on the Werchter line up though)

Also, was reading the paper yesterday (It was the Daily Star, so I would take this with a pinch of salt) but they could apparently reveal that Kasabian are headlining the Sunday of Glastonbury, given that it's only a week before could anyone see them at Werchter (I know they wouldn't get anywhere near headliner but they are still an unbelievable live band)

Regarding other rumours, I'd be really happy with Foos or Muse headlining, would prefer Foos because I've never seen them, but wouldn't complain at Muse. And would absolutely love it if Jack White got announced!

I'm not saying they're a bad band but for the 40th birthday i think we had the right to hope something better. If the headliner was FF, i'd definitely go to the main stage but now i think i'm gonna see Stromae.

I hope they got KOL because the negotiations with FF weren't good for them and they din't take them a long time ago.

Oh well, tbf I haven't ever seen them live so should at least give them a chance. Here's hoping The Prodigy are on after as Com mentioned, that would satisfy me!

Nobody saw it was coming, that was funny. I'm following the forums and everybody was thinking Muse or Foo's for sure but nobody thought about it. Maybe one of the reason is they played last year at a subheadliner position and they wouldnt have been a direct headliner.

But it's ok, nice band, good and guaranteed cool performance. Last year was full joy.

Hope they will announce cool new bands like CHVRCHES, London Grammar and good names for The Barn, Miles Kane and Jake Bugg for sure..

There's no press article mentioning them as closing the festival, only headlining. So yeah, let's hope for a dance act cause this is just the biggest shit they could get. 6 times in 8 editions, 4th time headlining in 6 editions...

I think there must be a charmer group on Sunday. Maybe it's Kasabian. Because only Kings of Leon won't make an impact on people that much. There are lots of disappointed people already. Or a Daft Punk for a closing show would be negotiable for all of us.

Ugh - I've been going every year since 2007 and have seen them 4 or maybe 5 times - lost count! They were awesome the first couple of times but I felt last year they just went through the motions to collect their fee. Totally disinterested. Give me editors any day over kol. Wonder if they are struggling for headliners this year?
