Just glancing over the last page or two, though he's big at the moment, I just cant picture Drake in a headlining position at a T/V yet, sub or second stage headline maybe but I just don't feel he's as big over here yet as many other pop/rap types they can have in the same position. Random guessing, been a wee while...

Main

Biffy - Paramore

Timberlake or Gaga - Bruno Mars

Arctic Monkeys - QOTSA

NME

Drake

The Prodigy

Avicii

Chase and Status, Calvin Harris and a band for Rockness headliners (if its on)

Just been tweeting this guy and he seems to think he has some infomation, and I'm trying to see where from. I don't believe him one bit but worth asking questions about! He says Biffy will be announced next friday...

Surely you've heard at least ONE of these. Even if you didn't know it was drake, you've heard at least one or two...

Oh yeah I went into more detail about why it's very likely in the R/L forum. I'l post it here in a sec...

Just Hold On' is by far my favourite single he's ever put out. His new album has sold amazingly in the UK, definitely not someone you should just throw to the side. He puts out good stuff!

From that I've only heard the Rihanna collabs (cant really escape her tunes, shes anywhere) and Hold on, were going home because Arctic Monkeys covered it. Read your thought process on the other board, the one major flaw I'd find with what your saying is that in most cases headliners are announced without any shows upcoming, with T announced mid to end February this comes before his March tour of which isnt sold out at the Hydro (anyone feel free to tell me I'm wrong on that one) I'm not doubting he might be there however, alot of big sellers will be about and not headline, there is alot of acts that will be put there before him.

Additionally, if we are going to use the 'he's headlined Wireless', I'd put that as purposeful an arguement as 'they've headlined BBC Big Weekend!'

The fellow I mentioned early that said about Biffy be announced next friday has said that he can't tell me anymore because he's not suppose to know that. His friends dad works for DF concerts is how he got the info supposedly and he said that their will be more rock there next year.

Which makes me believe that he really doesn't know anything, but I will see if I trust him by next friday...

Well it's a guessing game really isn't it, if he headlines it's justifiable, if he doesn't it's justifiable... However I can imagine both of the situations happening, either being a headliner or a strong sub.

It's just he is around at the time of T and normally whoever's headlining is touring. Was pretty clear Rihanna would be there when she announced her massive Diamonds Tour in the winter.

I think we're in a very similar situation as we were last year.

The Killers doing IOW - Can they do both T & IOW

Mumford & Sons - An Act which raised some eyebrows headlining

Rihanna - A different act for T that became apparent because of their massive tour in the year.
