I've just caught up with the thread. My guess at headliners is Biffy Clyro, Arctic Monkeys and Jay-Z & Justin Timberlake co-headlining like they did at Wireless under their 'Legends Of The Summer' schtick.

The Prodigy, Paramore & Bruno Mars as subs too.

Problem is though T doesn't seem to know what direction to go in

GE kept quoting this 19-25 demographic in his interviews but the line up he served up didn't sell out. If he just serves up a legendary headliner and then the same guff as the last 2 years you'd have a tiny crowd for someone like a Springsteen and a huge crowd for whatever DJ is playing opposite on the radio 1 stage.

T has lost its identity, lots for DF to think about

Can anyone give advice on finding hotels. Where best to get one and what's it like getting etween the hotel and festival. It's not for me but for someone who can't hack the camping. Hotels in Kinross have no availability at the moment. Is Perth too far?

I wouldn't be really happy with that but i'd take it :) I'm hoping for no pop/rap headliners unless it's kanye but can't really see it... But heres hoping!

Not a fan of Radiohead but i'd be happy with these headliners as daft punk should be alright and I love Pearl Jam. Also not being big fans of the other two but I think these headliners would bring back a really good crowd and sure to have a right good old undercard.

It's be nice to have the same set of headliners big day out have,

Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire and Blur

Very true but they have a history with T being the first ever headliner, I suppose if they went for a heavier act Pearl Jam would be ideal but the way the festival has changed I just dont know anymore

I don't get this doubtful attitude. Build it and they will come. There are a shit load more T attendees staying away now than going. Book the right headliners, announce them before everybody makes other plans and the place will fill up with the fans of the bands. Of course there needs to be a balanced and suitable undercard but it's possible to cater for a whole variety of genres. All those people filling Murrayfield and Hampden for the likes of Springsteen and ACDC would happily go to a festival too! There are a shit load of frustrated Pearl Jam fans in Scotland too.

    • Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if they're advised not to do the fire/fireworks this year, I live in Crickhowell and we've had maybe 10 minutes of rain in total in the past couple of months, there've been a couple of big fires in the area (one peat fire above Blaenavon will be burning underground for quite some time yet) and all eyes will be on GM. Fingers crossed we get a good soaking next week 😁
    • Around £400 this time, possibly slightly over.   Think what you've said sounds about right
    • Glastonbury 2025 general admission tickets cost £378.50 (including 5 booking fee ) plus £10.25 postage . what are the thoughts on next years price ? ...... im going for £395 plus postage so they can say its still under £400 ..... but I think the deposit will be £100 up from £75
    • 100% doing Knebworth, said it for a while.   Celtic, Etihad, Knebworth been signed & sealed for a number of months (I had it confirmed categorically in May). Just a case of when the dates fall, and how many.   Can't remember if I mentioned at the time, though probably not a major secret given that they were seen leaving Abbey Road on the same day - Liam/Squire album two in 2028.    Dunno where that leaves Oasis beyond 2027, though Andy is active with Ride in early 2027, so maybe it will just run alongside Oasis like that, if they carry on.
