Welcome Suze.

In order to appease the mighty Weather Gods to guarantee NFR NFC for the benefit of all at Glasto 2014, we must:

a) get r***ed on as much as possible before the big week in question.

B) keep the thread on the first page of the forum...24 hours per day.

c) never, EVER mention the words r***, cl*** other forms of wetness from the sky.

d) never trust science nonsense RE: the weather.

e) what Yoghurt said.

You're gonna fit RIGHT in :)

NFR NFC to you!

It's not a total sausage fest in here, btw.

The gingers are probably on the way home from work.

And (Weather God) knows where jet-setting italio-swede asphaltblommen is.

To mention, but 3...

I personally swear by walking boots even if m***y and comfy trainers. Wellie scan give you awful blisters and in my opinion not comfy for walking say 5 miles plus a day in. But I am not a girlie and don't understand this festival chic stuff.

    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
    • Dream Blink day    Blink - Turnstile - Neck Deep - The Story So Far
    • The vibe for Avalanches was spectacular, but i totally understand not wanting to wait in a queue for however long it was.   I had to miss Ethel Cain to queue. Bit annoying, but I had never seen the Avalanches before (either live or DJ set) and it was every bit as joyful as I hoped.   Great little stage, either way.
    • The Smashing Pumpkins are also a shout
