Er, you haven't invested in a Lochland size tent have you ?

I could be busy after all !

Might get a wee loan of the Lochside marquee. That way I could park my tent and car in it and keep everything dry. Plus have room for a bbq area etc !!

Allegations of it still being in the hills of Wickerman turned out to be false !

HeY wait till next year at wickerman im getting the porch and the carpets for that bad boy!

You guys are ace for saying you will erect my tent every year.

shame i will miss the meet looks like your gonna have a good turn out have a good one fellas!

try not to laugh to much at lippy in his wind up birds vest :haha:

I'll be the shy blonde female of indeterminate age with my middle aged hubbie in tow. I will probably just end up lurking as I do on this forum.

Did we not meet you back in 2012 outside the calling out tent when the wind up birds had played ? Feel free to say hello, if it's dry i'll be the one with the cute looking happy baby !

Yes I remember meeting ramragon in 2012, I think you had a your daughter with you then. Looking forward to meeting you again. We've still not finished packing and I have to work tomorrow but hoping to be on site by 4 or 5. Probably have some work calls while hubbie speeds down the m74/m6.

    • I see, well even if they aren't on sale it's still not a disaster sales wise, it's not like they are struggling to sell a half capacity areana
    • Blue dot wouldn’t be a thing if Ticketmasters dynamic pricing went down as well as up, it proves that the dynamic pricing was just a scam to make more money rather than something that moved with the market supply/demand.
    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
