Got out from the west car parks last night at 12:30. No queues for us in the pink west car parks but I don't think some of the other west ones were so lucky. Got back to suffolk at 5:00, bit of a kip and am now considering unloading by rucksack.

Best bits : smashing pumpkins, the hives, miles Kane and as always the friendly people.

Worst bits: the crushes at the Rolling Stones and the lack of water or washing points over in Paine ground.

Mmmm bits : the bird on the pyramid, bit rubbish and detracted from the bands

Got back at 7.30 this morning on the 5.15 first train back to Southampton. No queues! I've been to all the Glastonburys since 1993 and have to say, this year was vintage! What a fantastic 5 days!

Caught half an hour of the Smashing Pumpkins, swung by the Beat at Williams Green, climbed the hill of death - actually no biggie - final pack of campervan before getting on our way by 22.45 and back in North London by 01.30 - couldn't have been easier.

First time I've left a festival on a Sunday night but after getting stuck in 8 hours queues on Monday in 2007 (and first return to Glasto since), thought we'd give it a go and getting back on it yesterday didn't really appeal anyway.

First time in campervan fields and it was a total joy. Spent more time around the Green Fields and West Holts but still so much we didn't experience. Whole five days were truly awesome with great food, people, vibe and of course, music.
