Hull or Sheffield Utd will be getting a Europa spot for being in the final of the FA cup. Potentially Wigan as well.

Can Man Utd get top 6 this season to be in with a chance of any European games next year?

Also, funny rant from a utd fan

http://strettynews.com/fergies-poker-face-fails-him-as-the-chosen-one-offers-nothing-but-his-final-death-rattle/

and

"Drogba: Always in our hearts." banner allegedley ( probably not really) heard in the crowd under it:

"Daddy, daddy - am I in your heart?"

"Chr1st, Terry, just hold the bloody sign up! Jeeeeeze. You're worse than your mother."

I can't see anyone turning down Sturridge for £12M.

While he might not have been a hit at Chelsea he always looked much better than a £12M player.

His price would have had to be around £20M before any half-decent manager might have bulked (unless he had loads more to spunk on one of the proven very best).

Considering all the problems around him I'd have been surprised if many managers would be happy going over £15m. Hindsight and all that.

Problems? What problems?

The only suggestion of any problem - which wasn't anything out of the norm for any player - was him refusing to sign a new contract with City* because he saw better prospects for himself at Chelsea because he believes himself a great player (and so he's proven, when he's been given the first chance to prove it).

(* this was when it was still owned by the Thai guy, not the Arab)

How's that a problem? It's considered a great move if it's a player doing that to sign for utd.

FFS, Utd have really addled some brains.

Was seen by almost all as this player with attitude problems etc

not by me. He merely seemed like a player who had never been given a proper chance.

When he was played by Chelsea he was often played wide, which always seemed nuts to me. There's some strikers who are adaptable with where they play, but he never looked like one of those from what I saw of him (and his time at Liverpool seems to bear that out).

When you think Kenwyn Jones cost Stoke £9M, £12M for Sturridge should look like a snip to any manager. Easily worth the small risk.

Still, that time at Chelsea has possibly helped him fit in at Liverpool where he was never going to displace Suarez as the top talent.

That makes no sense. It just seems like you're spouting bollocks and bringing an irrelevant club into a debate about hypotheticals and past decisions.

It probably made more sense with what I was exactly thinking at the time I wrote those words than what I could recall of those thoughts when you asked me to explain.

Neil would bring an anti Utd view into the disappearance of Flight MH370 if he could.

Fergie shot JFK.

Norman Whiteside shot MLK.

Bobby Charlton faked the moon landing.

You do know that the Glazers have hidden MH370 in Delaware along with the Utd accounts and all the money you're been giving them, don't you?

It's why your team is shit. :P

If you have a android tablet download XBMC and install the sports devil addon for it.

It gives you streams for all sports channels and all live sports. Its what I use for my Nexus

these 3 guides show you how to do it

How to install xbmc - http://www.worldtvpc.com/mediaplayers/xbmc/xmbc-android.php

How to add the fusion directory for add ons - http://www.worldtvpc.com/mediaplayers/xbmc/xmbc-adding-fusion.php

How to add sports devil - http://www.worldtvpc.com/mediaplayers/xbmc/xmbc-adding-sportsdevil.php

should only take 20 minutes tops

ahhh, coool, thanks.

Was using sportdevil on a raspberry pi, but gave up with it - it would take 5+ mins to start a stream, and most of the time you'd wait that 5 +mins and then it wouldn't start the stream anyway.

I hadn't realised I could run it on direct on the tablet.

I'll get to it, and hopefully I can then chromecast the streams to my TV. :)

A good win for Man Utd today. While the opposition wasn't the strongest, it isn't that common for club to come from losing the first leg by 2 goals and not scoring an away goal. The last 8 looks strong with Barcelona, R Madrid, A Madrid, Bayern, Dortmund, PSG and Chelsea joining Man Utd.

Its hard to know the best team for the English clubs, despite being close to winning the tournament last year, Dortmund have probably been the weakest of the 6 this season. You would never count out Chelsea with Mourinhio against anyone, but its hard to see Man Utd beating anyone left in the competition.
