think lilly might be 3rd

I could see Lily being third too, playing the Jessie J slot from this year effectively. I could see Tinie headlining 4music stage instead of subbing, but with them headliners it would maybe split the crowd abit. I still think Avicii to headline 4music stage on one day though

And if that doesn't happen? I think she will be third main with disclosure around the same time on 4music

she has already had 2 in the top 10 with one being a number 1. Think.we can safely say it will be a big selling album

I am convinced that Disclosure will be at L&R personally.

Weren't they there last year? I could see Rudimental at R&L and Disclosure at V, pretty much doing a swap from last year. If Rudimental played V I would suggest they play on main, the 4music stage was packed for them and they were against Vaccines on main

I think they'll both be at R&L. R&L will probably offer Disclosure a huge slot, headlining the second stage.

I agree however we have to remember V + Creamfields might appeal to them rarther then just R&L

However Disclosure went down so well last year they will be offered an improved deal Rudimental and i think they will want Rudimental too

I think V get 1975 + Bastille off R&L though

They can play R&L and Creamfields, though. That would probably be easier being that they're both on the same weekend.

I agree with the last part, due to what bcfcstar (I think that was his name?) said.

Kasabian's 10 anniversary of their first album or something next year, so maybe them. I still think they will go for one pop act and one band ie Gaga and Kasabian/Arctics

Kasabian are already doing their debut in full at their show in Leicester, would seem a bit lame to then go and do it at V as well, makes their homecoming a bit less special

Where's it been stated they will play the debut in full? I know it's the anniversary and what not but that doesn't mean they'll play it in its entirety does it?

Ive got ticks to that, all they've said is they've got something really special planned for Leicester and some new tracks will be debuted, maybe that's what he means

So with Jake Bugg being announced for R&L thats certainly making Brcstar info (if it was info) very debatable.

The same person who said that Blink 182 were one of the R&L headers has also said Arctics are one of the others. So again, was Brcstar just guessing??

i think it puts a serious doubt upon the Info... if the poster would like to come and confirm his source/ confirm it was a guess then that would clear stuff up :D

Disclosure would be someone V would have pushed for IMO but i don't think they would have wanted anyone else from the Leeds announcement personally

    • No worries, it's a perfectly fair question to ask. I would expect people to be talking at the back & near the bars & that is where I would want them to be talking. If your group are enjoying yourselves & the music & briefly chatting to say how much you are loving a certain song etc, you would be an ideal group to stand behind.   My issue is with people having full blown conversations (usually unrelated what is on the stage) whilst being surrounded by people who are trying to listen to the music. This was happening in the middle and towards the front of all stages, & so you have limited options to move around & you may have spent 20 minutes waiting for the band trying to get the closest position that you can. If there's a group of 8 people, there may be 2 or 3 that like the band & the rest will start talking if the music isn't their thing. This may be the norm now for festivals, and if it is, that's ok & I will focus on a band's own gigs & UK based new music festivals.    I'm also not including consequences of my own decision making. I saw Geese on Wednesday so went to Occident after Men I Trust finished so it was understandable there would be chatting that far back. Similarly, getting to The XX after Olivia Rodrigo along with most of the site, I knew my chance of a good spot & a chat-free zone had gone so that was completely reasonable.   PS. I went to Bilbao BBK in 2023 & 2025 & enjoyed it. For Pulp & Kylie in 2025, I got a position early & was surrounded by a respectful & fun crowd for both. The UK non-headlining bands tend to go on the undercover 3rd stage, & most people like to congregate outside so you can usually get close to the front of that stage.
    • Interview on 6 music earlier, was going to get the album to have a listen, but comes out the day they play the festival
