I'd like it to be 3 days but it won't happen I don't think :-/ wonder why V don't go 3 days. If they make money on 2 days they should be able to make money on the third. Hendrix Beatles and Clash wouldn't be my dream 3 but I'd watch them to say I was there :-D

Yeah which they could bill as 3 days. The money they would sell for the extra day would help them, although it would mainly only be day tickets extra to the normal sales. Roughly what percentage of tickets are day tickets for each day. I would pay a bit extra for the extra day but not over £205 as that's glasto price

Yeah true plus I got a coach ticket that tool it up to £250. Does glasto price include booking fee or not in the 205

Blindly that's a lot my rock werchter plus travel came to about 260 and that's a 4 day fest and pukkelpop with travel came to about 200 for a 3 day fest.

It was 260 including travel :-0 I'm going the wrong place :-P pukkelpop is same weekend ain't it? Something is same as V :-P

How come European feats can be a lot cheaper

Yeah same weekend.

People say less competition, pay the headliners less etc etc. You get free travel once your in belguim which is fantastic and in my opinion alot better lineups than uk fests And I get editors as headliners.

I actually think all round that Bilbao BBK is great value for money this year.

Werchter is decent, especially Sunday I'd say although not fussed on Editors as closer but it still wouldn't get my money.

I like V line up more than pretty much anywhere else. There's people I want to see in every slot and I'd rather have Beyonce and Calvin Harris than editors and sigur ros :-) although you get more days

Taken out green day and put in the mighty sigur ros for ya!!!

Aren't green day playing there? I thought they were :-P I havnt checked any of the line ups in a while I got bad phone signal here.

Who is at Bilbao

Yeah green day are headling the thursay, I will be watching sigur ros who are headlining another stage. Great three on the smaller stage with biffy/bloc party/sigur ros following each other.

Ahh right thought I saw it somewhere :-P biffy headlining reading but third on pukklepop does that show they don't deserve a headline slot :-P

3rd on 2nd stafe at Werchter not pukkelpop, no they deserve to headline in the uk just not popular elsewhere. It will be goid to see them in a hot sweaty tent, kasabian play low on the bill in belguim aswel.

On the flip side though editors headline over there, so its what your tastes are.

Yeaahhh. Looking at the T splits they are real similar to V. Different days but courteeners subbing second, Beady eye and Calvin heading second, script and stereophonics subbing main. And people tried telling me dizzee wouldn't sub second as he is subbing glasto :-P if he does it at T he would at V I think.

The Friday is the only day I wouldn't have gaps on, Saturday has a gap in the middle and Sunday has a gap at the beginning for me so I'm glad I got V ticket

Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kasabian, Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Morrissey, Biffy Clyro, Arcade Fire, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Mumford & Sons, Blur, Daft Punk, New Order, Radiohead, Bruno Mars, P!nk, Drake

Some of those are incredibly long shots but fuck it, why not

In an ideal world this would be my picks from your list;

Saturday

Radiohead

Snow Patrol

Sunday

Justin Timberlake

P!nk

    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
