It depends on whats the grounds like really, if its really muddy people stay on the metal path so it could take longer half an hour especially if with a group. If youre on your own or couple, you can push on quickly if the ground is ok in under 10 minutes.

Lot of it depends where you in the field. If you're at the edge of the crowd, it's that much quicker. But it's not that far, really, especially if you go before a set ends and there's not a huge movement of people. I reckon, at a push, you could do it in 15 minutes.

A few years ago I put together a grid of the walking times between the various stages and on that I had it down as 15 minutes. Just the other day I updated it with all the new/differently named areas - will try and remember to post it tonight when I'm at home.

This is the old one (from 2007, I think):

Of course the times can vary considerably depending on time of day/human traffic/distractions/if you're on your own or in a group of 20/weather/etc etc etc

I'd say 15 minutes is a fair average for a group of people going from the mid-crowd at the Pyramid to mid-crowd at the Other via the strip of stalls on the west side (there's not a lot in it compared to the east side from my experience). As I said, these times can vary quite a lot and if you're on your own and the crowds aren't too bad then it can be done in under 10 minutes - I know, I've done it.

Besides, this is just a guide for those that don't know the site so well, no need to pick it apart too much :)

As for 10 mins being cut off the JP/Stone Circle time, I think 55 mins was a bit pessimistic. I suppose it also depends on whether you're going from JP to the Stone Circle or vice-versa, one way involves a lot more uphill than the other.

I've done it in 10-15 minutes but that was legging it and from the edge of the crowd near the cider bus - using the open space between the stalls and the track way going via the bandstand, but never got there in 15 minutes going from the crowd to the right of the Pyramid as you look at it around the Dance Village entrance and past the info point/bar into Other Stage field. Traffic along the road going into back stage, nearly always slows me down
