Playing Roskilde in Denmark, end of June, beginning of July, so they're the right side of the Atlantic. With the current buzz, I suspect they'd be desperate to play to as many people as possible, so fingers crossed.

I think the one thing missing from Glastonbury is a dingy late night punk rock bar where bands like Parquet Courts, Black Lips, King Khan, Wet Nuns, Vivian Girls and all those young DIY garage bands could play. They could kit it out like the old CBGBs, sell Red Stripe lager and make it a real raggity sweat box. Can't have everything, I suppose.

thought i'd resurrect this as i've recently gotten in to their album a whole lot. probably one of the best albums of 2013 that i unfortunately didn't discover in 2013 (well, technically it was first released in 2012, but properly in 2013)
