Wish I'd have been old enough to appreciate this fully at the time.

You dont mean that. I am old enough - and remember watching them in 1984. Feeling they were OK no more when I was expecting something magical. Didnt recognise them for the genius they were. Do now and regret not seeing them more often.

It was announced yesterday that Mr Marr is klaying in Southampton next month, so I have just bought a ticket.

One less clash to worry about!!

(must listen to the new album now, I'm really only in it for the Smiths covers)

I managed to get the last ticket for that gig at The Brook, and like yourself need to get round to listening to his new stuff before the event

Last setlist had 4 Smiths tunes - Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before, There is a Light, Bigmouth and How Soon is Now.

Get in.

He's been playing London at the majority of shows, I found it one of the highlights of the show, truth is that Moz is always going to deliver better versions of Stop Me, There Is A Light and Bigmouth, but London is one that only Marr can really lick. I'm surprised his never pulled out This Charming Man, I know he's not got Morrissey's voice by any stretch of the imagination, but Moz has never really be able to full deliver on Charming Man because he's never had a guitarist that can properly pull off the riff, I would have assumed that would be Marr's trump card, let the audience carry the vocals.

Ohhhh, that riff! Finally going to get to see it performed live by those masterful hands on Saturday, hopefully.

Parklife? See you there. Makes me laugh how people complain about G not giving out set times yet considering we won't get them at all without paying at Parklife.

Haven't given his solo record a go yet, but was impressed by the track he performed from it last night.

No, supporting the Roses at Finsbury Park, he must be playing the Sunday at Parklife.
