Another big factor will be the arts lineup too, I could see many of the comedy stage acts pulling out if it went ahead - the whole war is very big and horrific news and I can't see Festival Republic (especially Melvin Benn) wanting to be dragged into it too with these links, its very important this is raised at this point All acts should have the right to pull out if they're unhappy with the situation but I wonder how legally binding it could all be for them if they wish not to perform because the sponsorship -
Rest sounds like another word for waiting. Like, "sorry madam, the chef is running late so you can rest for 45 minutes till your meal arrives" lol

I agree it’s more that people are looking to get rid of the Tory’s then a love for labour. However would people have been passionately voting labour if RLB had won the leadership who was the only realistic contender. I expect some would be voting labour feeling happier but not among the swing voters who matter.
