My parking sticker is here, at the post office according to the incoming mail image thingies. Too bad isn't going to be delivered because today is a holiday, no mail delivery.

Well, this is bullshit. Because they sent it late-ish, we have to buy it again? If they do let us into parking, I wonder what would happen if I just never put the sticker up? I would leave a copy of the order confirmation email in the dash, though...

When was it sent out? Apparently mine was sent on Tuesday. I highly doubt that it will make it here by Monday.

Got a reply to me pointing out that there's never any stopping/parking around PGA - "You would need to speak to the stewards on the day as to where you would/wouldn’t be able to stop." Kind of confirms what someone else said - they did really say "international people pick up their tickets and, yeah, beer time!"

If timed right and Heathrow immigration isn't a complete shitshow, I can be there within 10-12 hours of leaving my house in the US.

I say they will but it won't be announced anywhere. Just keeping with the theme so far. I emailed back saying that historically no cars were allowed there, you couldn't park, you couldn't stop. What's up?

Got a reply.... In other words, no one knows shiz. "We believe you would need to stop off at the box office to collect your tickets, and then drive round to the Worthy View campsite. When I asked about the car, said that the Festival will send something out. The Festival has sent something out and it's nothing. I've emailed them again. FWIW, I also emailed the Festival directly. In my case, they sent me to WV and WV has been silent. I emailed the festival again.

You'd be missing out on 12 hours of the festival! Plus unplanned hotel and other expenses... provided you can even find something in the area for reasonable price. It's almost as if they don't want all of the overseas people bringing our 'ronies.

Drive to NY on Monday, drops kids off with the relatives, catch the day flight to Heathrow on Tuesday, sleep, get the car on Wednesday morning and drive. If not for the little ones, we'd just fly from Toronto... Two-ish hour drive beats 6-7...

Report back after you fly. I'm curious whether there's simply no immigration on that route or if we truly screwed up somehow.
