having seen both Foals and The Vaccines live multiple times, I'd say the comparisons boarder on offensive. Foals are excellent live, their shows are pure passion, wonder and energy, The Vaccines are limp, lifeless, predictable and uninspired... What did you expect from The Vaccines?

I live in Oxford and often see Yannis round the pubs in Jericho or at the odd gig or two, if I said to him that they have been compared to the vaccines he would probably cry and I don't blame him

I find foals to be a fascinating band, I'm not sure I've ever liked a bands sound so much when I've disliked pretty much all its members. They tend to come across as smug and pretentious but release really really good music, hearing them talk drives me a bit mad though!
