Personally I can't stand the libertines and didnt watch them when they headlined...nor pulp or the strokes...and if Mumford play...i might watch them...might not....but those bands are just not my taste...to me, those are uninspriing dull bookings because i think they are pap...but many many people love them. I'm more into Foo's and Muse... enjoyed MCR...even enjoyed GnR to a point as i finally got to see 'them' live. Point being..you can't cater for everyone... As long as i get to see 1 headliner who fits in with what I like musically...another who i appreciate...then i'm happy..the 3rd can be whoever..if i see all 3..bonus... but there's a million other acts over the weekend to see to keep me happy.

pretty sure people are aware i've been calling mumford for glasto a few days now

PMSL - there's no limit to the bullshit you'll shit out of hour mouth, is there?

Only yesterday you were posting that mumfords were only playing Glastonbury if they weren't announced for Reading yesterday.

Which gets to mean that you've not been saying mumfords for Glasto for a few days, and neither were you right about eminem because you expected mumford to be announced far more than you did eminem.

Gazza, efestivals, jump and tourette pretty much sums it up.

have you had your braincells halved to just the one today or something? ;lol:

I don't care about who might have called it right. but I do care about the bullshit you're championing that gazza did when he didn't.

As I keep pointing out, I have BIG issues with bullshitters. If this carries on, I'll act.

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
