Cant wait for tomorrow. Saw The Stone Roses at Spike Island and haven't seen them since & if i'm honest, I cant remember a thing about Spike Island.

Blistering hot day and a few hours in the pub beforehand and tomorrow could go a similar way

I saw them at V last year (yes I know I have shamed myself by going to V but I actually did see some decent bands) and I thought they were excellent. Can't wait till Saturday.

someone threw a glass bottle into the crowd! Amazing.

I didnt see any trouble at the london gig I went to, but I wasnt that close to the front.

I saw a lot of mens knobs though, pissing wherever they pleased.

I find this really odd, I mean, i found the whole reunion really strange, but anyway, they were never, first time round a particularly laddish band, can't recall any particularly bad behaviour, second summer of love and all that. Maybe I'm wearing rose tinted glasses, though.

Now, just seems to be an excuse for an entire generation of pissed up balding pudgy middle aged men to reminisce abut something they weren't even into first time round and act boorishly. It's all very strange.

Throwing glass in a crowd. fucking vermin

I was near the mixing desk in London and I saw a couple of things very nearly kick off, but then they have that brilliant moment when they realise its a beautiful evening, the sun is setting, the Stone Roses are banging out a tune and it turns into hugs and sing-a-longs.

This is terrible, really terrible. I was at Heaton Park last year (Saturday) and it was fine where I was, not the same as it was before but fine.

I was lucky enough to see them a lot the first time round, early days in small clubs to 100 people and it grew rapidly but the feeling was very positive and euphoric, never anything less than that. Even Spike Island was fine though it was badly organised. By the time they played the Pilton party once the second album was out it wasn't what it had been but still pretty cool.

It feels like the bevvied up Oasis fans have been looking for a new gig and found it.
